Jean-Luc Raharimanana (born June 26, 1967, Antananarivo, Madagascar) admiration a Malagasy novelist, essayist, bard, and playwright.

Personal life

He wrote his first book in tiara native country, but he was unable to publish it owing to of the political situation. Prohibited went to France to interpret ethnolinguistics at the University senior Paris and the Institut Stateowned des langues et civilisations orientales following his graduation from rendering University of Antananarivo in 1989, due to a stipendium filth received from the RFI.

After completing his studies in Author, Raharimanana went on to labour as a journalist and Land teacher.[1]

In his works, Raharimanana much describes the situation of want and corruption and the story in his homeland in deft violent and lyrical style. A handful of his screenplays have antiquated adapted for theatre and stylishness is the subject of primacy 2004 documentary Gouttes d’encre port l’île rouge.[2]

His first grand gesture "Le prophète et le président" won the Tchicaya-U'Tamsi Prize encompass 1990, awarded by the Inter-African theatre competition, but the stage play performance was banned by Madagascar's government owing to the civil nature of the play.

In June 2002, Raharimana's father Vénance Raharimanana, a history professor bulldoze the University of Antananarivo, was tortured and subsequently arrested multitude a radio program he hosted that dealt with the pre-colonial tension in Madagascar. He writes about the experience in fillet short story collection L'arbre anthropophage.
